grabbagvideo.com: The buzz with video upload sites going mobile
What is the buzz... Computers are getting smaller, bandwidth is increasing, processors and memory continue to compound at astonishing rates. What we have here is a race to deliver the most user accessible content to the least accessible places on earth.
Soon content providers will be developing networks that can receive satellite transmitted video uploads from the MOON, VIDEO uploads from Mars, provide live rss from spaceships and atom feeds from satellites in distant far away galaxies... The future of entertainment here today, in our world, our lifetime... Oh Ain't it great.
But ask your self a simple question...
At what expense am I owed these pleasures.
Am I the alpha, am I the Omega
Is it in Heaven or on Earth do I hold my treasures
Oh this is to deep... Where is my Sega
As billions of lives lie on the brink, as the signs of the times flash before us everyday, as we sit on the sidelines forced to watch the events of halliburton's war unfold. It's ok if our young men and women lose their lives overseas, just as long as I can download the latest Pamela Anderson porn on my cell phone when I go to the bahamas on vacation next month.
Yes Uncle Sam... keep me connected, keep me entertained, keep me distracted with all of these festering neon distractions, all of this congestion to keep us all occupied, yes Maynard I guess I am one of those millions of dumbfounded dipshits, yeah fuck this junkie and fucj his short memory.
Please people .... WAKE UP... What's more important?? The playstation or people dying, eh?? OK, guess I am a lemming too, a good little lemming I'll do as I am told... ok... ok. Baaahhhh, Baaahhhh........... Baahhhh...... This lil sheep is tired, bored, un-entertained. Goin' to play that new silent hill shizle PEACE.
The buzz with video upload sites going mobile
The mobile video upload market is a new and emerging market that may become one of the most deciding factors in the way that entertanment is delivered the consumer over the next ecade. Already many Major players have began to take there stake in the market including Google, Msn, Yahoo, Myspace and other players.
Although these larger sites have been able to leverage years of internet markeitng expertise in combination with established brand names, sites like break.com, ebaumsworld.com and grabbagvideo.com prove that this is still anyone's ballgame as consumers begin to flock to sites that tailor their operations to satisfy their own personal needs.
The market can no longer assume that the consumer will automatically, go for the simple easy to navigate site over the all inclusive custom tailored more complex site. Point in case, myspace.com has became the single most popular site on the internet that is not search engine based. Yes, myspace.com has simplified the very essence of social interaction between friends and individuals but familiarizing oneself with the site can be a daunting and overwhelming task. Yet the immense social pressures the site's affluence exherts over the daily lives of many pre-teens, teens, young adults, and mid to older age demographically classified users is unmeasurable. Hence, user feel the need to learn the structure, the layout, to master it and finally acheive the great sense of accomplishment that comes with myspace page laid out with great finess.
So in the end, the mobile video upload market is still uncharted territory. It will take more than a clever marking, and simple easy to use features to dominate the segment. Consumers are clearly beginning to demand more from technology. Only with great developmntal ideas, effective strategies, well execute marketing, and an increase in public service offerings will we begin to see a winner emerge in this new and uncharted territory.

Developing Grabbagvideo.com
Website optimzation is truly the art of find the balance in this harmony. And is art which I hope to master. Until then it is truly trial and error, hit and miss. As I see our site climb up and down the search engine rankings for phrases like movie auditions, acting auditions, commercial audtions, video uploads, music uploads, etc.., I am often left with a daunting task.
I recieve a request from a corporate partner, etc... who wishes to have have text removed from pages and replace with an image or flash based layout. I try to explain, our site has been optimized for certain keywords For example the term commercial auditions on yahoo.com and msn.com we consistently rank in the top 10 and are in the top 30 or 40 on google.
This is the source of traffic to grabbagvideo.com our site visitor log attest to this and SQL reports verify it. We do not pay in any way, shape, or form to advertise our site. The simple fact is removing text and keywords from our web pages will directly reduce or search engine rankings. Oh, how to deal.
